Department of Oceanography, Dhaka University invites application for admission into the MS in Oceanography programs under session 2012-13.

Eligibility:

• Four (4) years graduation degree in Geography and Environment, Geology, Zoology, Fisheries, Marine Science, Environmental Science, Physics, Botany and Chemistry with at least CGPA 3.0 or Masters Degree with 3 years graduation degree in those subjects with at least CGPA 3.0.
• Must have 2nd Class or CGPA 3.5 in SSC and HSC level.

Apply Procedure: 

Application form can be collect from office of Department of Oceanography, Dhaka University on payment of Tk 500/- between 10 a.m and 4.00p.m in any days except Fridays.

Filled Admission form will be submitted on or before 29 November, 2012 with 2 passport size photograph, all certificates and mark-sheet and money receipt.

Master in Information Technology (MIT) Evening Program
Admission Notice, Session 2013-2014

Applications are invited from the prospective students desiring to take an evening course for the Master in Information Technology (MIT), to be offered by the Institute of Information Technology (IIT), University of Dhaka.

Forty (40) students will be taken on the basis of merit. Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

1. Four (4) years graduation in CS/CSE/IT/CIT/ECE/ETE/EEE (or equivalent degree) with at least CGPA 2.50 on scale of 4.00 (or 2nd class equivalent) or successful completion of Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) with 3 years graduation degree
2. No third class/division (or equivalent).

Admission test will be held in two phases. Written examination will be held to test Computer, Quantitative, Analytical and English Language proficiency. Successful (written test) candidates will have to appear a viva voce for final selection to enroll in MIT.

The classes will be held in the evening and divided into 4 semesters (4 months each).
